As a Lead Designer for ALJ Lindsey, Sharon’s attention to detail and expert technical skills in AutoCAD frequently have her training other designers. Sharon’s calm demeanor and ability to multitask make her successful at helping co-workers acquire additional skills and advance their efficiency.

At ALJ Lindsey, Sharon truly enjoys working with her team to solve complicated site designs, such as difficult drainage and detention issues. For example, recently Sharon worked on a project for an elevated HEB supermarket in Meyerland Plaza. Sharon and her team overcame many challenges, including the property’s location in the Brays’ Bayou conveyance zone and floodplain, public and private utilities and City of Houston coordination. This is one of the many examples of Sharon’s ability to design a complex project with multi-agency coordination and many moving parts.

Sharon holds an Associate Degree in Drafting and Design, graduating as a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering through Houston Community College and UT Tyler. Sharon is an avid reader, and enjoys baking, although her favorite past-time is spending time with her husband and young son.
